Events & Projects
Adopt-A-Project:
Water Filters (Project Las Delicias in El Salvador for $35 per filter)
Every year, the FIMRC clinic in Las Delicias diagnoses dozens of children with parasites, amoebas, and bacterial infections. One of the main causes of infection is drinking the unsafe tap water because families do not have access to clean drinking water. By providing a family with a water filter, the whole family can enjoy clean and safe drinking water for two years. At CIC, our goal this year it to purchase as many water filters as possible through a variety of fundraising events.

Winter Clothing Drive:
We all know how cold it gets in Montreal...! But, did you know that there are tens of thousands of people in Montreal who will have to spend their winter on the streets? Everyone can make small, but significant contributions to help the homeless this winter! Warm the Sole is our annual winter clothing drive dedicated to help those in need. Last year, we donated towards Le Chaînon, a well established women's shelter in Montreal.
36 Questions to Fall in Love:
Did you read that article on The New York Times, “To Fall in Love With Anyone, Do This”? Apparently, there are 36 questions that will make strangers FALL IN LOVE!! Our fundraiser, 36 Questions to Fall in Love, was based off of the social experiment, except in a larger scale. It was great fun for all, and all proceeds went towards buying water filters for the disadvantaged families in Las Delicias, El Salvador.
